CMT Engineering Laboratories has been devoted to quality assurance of projects since its inception in 1978.  We are proud of our tradition of supplying high quality services in the following areas:

Accuracy of data: Our personnel possess the knowledge of materials and its physical properties and will enable them to provide our clientele will credible advice concerning quality analysis, handling, and structural performance.
 
Timeliness of services: CMT will operate on the contractors schedule; we will maintain a turnaround time that will not adversely impact our clients thus minimizing costs.

Attitude of being a resource for our clientele: CMT Engineering Laboratories will be staffed with personnel who possess the unique knowledge in the fields we specialize.

Our efforts to create a systematic program that will meet the requirements of the guiding principles; CMT Engineering Laboratories has implemented the following operating systems:

• AASHTO accreditation in the areas of Soils, Concrete Asphalt and Aggregates.


• Quality Systems Manual that dictate the training and certification of personnel, calibration and equipment maintenance and quality assurance management including participation in accreditation and certification inspections by outside agencies.

CMT Engineering Laboratories has the experience and the essential components to provide a superior service on this project.  Our experience on design build projects couples with experienced staff has the understanding of the issues that arise on this type of work. 

CMT has a central dispatch system that controls all our technicians and inspectors in the Intermountain area. Technicians and Inspectors are all equipped with wireless communication that allows immediate communication between them and the dispatcher.  This greatly assists CMT in providing timely services to our projects. 

When it becomes known that one or more projects will demand an increased level of staffing to adequately provide the scope of required testing and/or inspection, higher priority is assigned to that project including designation of a senior technician/inspector to assist in scheduling and overseeing day-to-day activities.
