CMT owns and operates a fleet of portable laboratories which are designed for heavy civil construction projects, several of these labs are set-up specifically for asphalt testing with consist of Superpave gyratory compactors and associated test methods for testing Hot Mix Asphalts.

Our experience in Hot Mix Asphalt design or QA/QC testing is unmatched throughout Utah. We are a highly qualified design laboratories and the majority's choice for quality control and research & development work in the state. Our capacity includes both Volumetric and Marshall Design methods; all of the associated test methods are performed at our North Salt Lake laboratory by our skilled technical staff.

Our extensive practical experience enables us to provide a reliable service with respect to precision of data and timeliness of service. Our ability to product reliable test results has resulted in CMT being utilitized as a referee lab for dispute resolution by most of the major suppliers.
